Explosions rock destroyed Russian base in Melitopol

In the temporarily occupied Melitopol, Zaporizhzhia region, explosions rang out at the occupiers' military base at night and in the morning.

"This morning, explosions rang out again. Smoke was seen above the military base of the occupiers which had been already destroyed. It is attacked for the fourth time," Melitopol Mayor Ivan Fedorov said during the nationwide news telethon, Ukrinform reports.

Fedorov added that yesterday up to 10 loud explosions had been rocking the western part of the city for two hours from 22:30. At the moment, Fedorov cannot clearly name the exact location where the explosions took place. There are injured and killed among the Russian military.

According to him, the information about the injured is known from the doctors whom the occupiers consulted.

As reported, in Melitopol, the occupiers seized the facilities of the Ukrainian regional energy company and created a fake energy company "Tavria-Energo".
