Defense ministry: Ukraine Army ready to repulse enemy forces in south

The Armed Forces of Ukraine are constantly preparing for any repeated offensives by the Russian army, considering and analyzing any possible scenarios.

The relevant statement was made by Ukrainian Defense Deputy Minister Hanna Maliar during a nationwide telethon, commenting on Russia’s potential offensive on Kharkiv and the enemy bringing up forces to southern Ukraine, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Preparations are the same across all directions and include building up reserves, and building a system of engineering fortification structures. Local authorities also play an important role. Undoubtedly, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are considering any possible scenarios and preparing for any of them,” Maliar told.

In her words, the situation on the battlefield has remained unchanged. Ukrainian defenders are fighting for each piece of Ukrainian land.

“You can see that, in recent weeks, the situation has not been changing radically; we are not giving up a single inch of land. This indicates that we are inferior to Russia in number terms but, nevertheless, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are ready for any scenarios and bravely defend Ukraine,” Maliar stressed.

A reminder that the Ukrainian military have eliminated 32 Russian invaders in southern Ukraine over the past day.
