Forty-six settlements in Kherson Region liberated but remain under enemy fire

A total of 46 settlements have been liberated in Kherson Region but remain under continuous enemy fire.

The relevant statement was made by Kherson Regional Military Administration Acting Head Dmytro Butrii during an online briefing, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“In Kherson Region, a total of 46 settlements have already been de-occupied… Indeed, there are villages which have been ruined practically at 90%... They remain under continuous enemy fire. The lion’s share of population left them,” Butrii told.

In his words, power grids, water and gas supply systems were destroyed.

Most liberated settlements are situated in the north of Kherson Region, at the border with Dnipropetrovsk Region.

According to Butrii, Kherson Region’s territory is in critical condition.

A reminder that local residents are leaving their houses damaged in Russia’s shelling of Kherson Region. One can see half-empty and totally abandoned villages in such communities as Kalynivka, Velyka Oleksandrivka, Vysokopillia and others.
