At least 1 killed, 2 injured in strike on Mykolaiv

Russian troops launched massive strikes on Mykolaiv city twice at night. According to preliminary data, one person was killed and two people were injured.

"On the night of July 31, after 01:00 and at about 05:00, Mykolaiv came under massive fire. According to preliminary data, one person was killed and two people were injured. As a result of the shelling, several infrastructure facilities were damaged. In particular, a hotel, a sports complex, two educational institutions, and a service station. Residential buildings were also damaged," Vitaliy Kim, Head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, posted on Telegram.

As noted, several fires broke out – a two-story building, two garages, and two outbuildings caught fire.

Earlier, Mykolaiv mayor Oleksandr Sienkevych said that the night attack on the city was "probably the most powerful ever".
