Lithuania preparing new military aid package for Ukraine

Lithuania will hand over ten more M113 armored personnel carriers and packages of explosives and smoke grenades to Ukraine.

That's according to Lithuania's Defense Minister Arvydas Anušauskas, Ukrinform reports, citing the Ukrainian service of Polskie Radio.

"Additional Lithuanian military aid will soon arrive in Ukraine," Anušauskas said.

He added that Lithuania also offers training for Ukrainian mechanics and sappers. "We are flexible and ready to help in any possible way, of course, depending on the needs reported by Ukraine," the minister emphasized.

According to him, supporting Ukraine is "our moral duty." "We must clearly understand that if we do not stop the aggressor in Ukraine, we will have a war in our own countries," Anušauskas said.
