Missile strike on Kropyvnytskyi: 5 people killed, 25 wounded

Five people were killed and 25 more were injured as a result of Russian missile strike on the city of Kropyvnytskyi.

"Five people were killed as a result of missile strike that occurred in Kropyvnytskyi at 12:22. Another 25 people were injured, of whom 12 are military personnel and 13 civilians," Head of the Kirovohrad Regional Administration Andriy Raikovych said, Ukrinform reports with reference to Suspilne.

According to the governor, Russian missiles struck the hangars of an aviation enterprise. There were two hits in the hangars of the flight academy of the National Aviation University. One soldier was among those killed. Material losses include two civilian planes and an AN-26 plane.

Investigators are working at the site. The aftermath of the missile attack is being eliminated.

As Ukrinform reported, last week, on July 23, Russian forces also hit the Kropyvnytskyi district with missiles, damaging an airfield and one of Ukrzaliznytsia facilities. Then three people were killed, another 16 people were injured.
