Twenty-three civilians reported killed in Russia’s missile attack on Vinnytsia

The death toll in Russia’s missile attack on Vinnytsia has increased to 23.

The relevant statement was made by the Ukrainian State Emergency Service on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“As of 07:40 p.m., 23 persons were reported killed (including three children); 115 persons requested medical assistance; 64 persons were taken to hospital (including two children); 34 persons were severely injured; five persons are in critical condition; 42 persons went missing,” the report states.

A total of 348 rescuers and 42 equipment units from the Ukrainian State Emergency Service are working at the scene.

A reminder that, on July 14, 2022, the Russian military fired Kalibr cruise missiles from a submarine in the Black Sea at downtown Vinnytsia. Two missiles were shot down by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
