Another body of a civilian killed by Russian invaders was found by what once was a network of Russian trenches in the village of Blystavitsa, Kyiv region.

That’s according to Andriy Nebytov, head of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Kyiv region, who made the report via Telegram, as seen by Ukrinform.

"At the former positions of the aggressors in the Bucha district, the body of another murdered citizen was discovered. He was buried out in the forest. The slain man sported a civilian outfit," wrote Nebytov.

The police examined the body and sent it for a forensic examination.

He added that in areas that had once been captured by the enemy, the police continue to find the bodies of civilians shot and tortured to death by Russian servicemen. As of July 12, a total of 1,342 bodies of civilians killed by invaders have already been discovered across Kyiv region.

As Ukrinform reported earlier on July 4, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Kateryna Pavlichenko said that, since Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, law enforcers have found more than 1,600 unidentified bodies across the country, most of them in Kyiv region.
