Three civilians killed, 28 injured in Russia’s shelling of Kharkiv

Russian troops have shelled the city of Kharkiv, leaving at least three civilians killed and 28 injured.

The relevant statement was made by Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Kyrylo Tymoshenko on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“At 10:20 a.m., July 11, 2022, the city came under rocket fire. According to the preliminary data, [Russian] occupiers used the Smerch multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS). A total of 10 projectiles were recorded. The residential areas came under enemy fire. A total of 28 civilians were injured, including a 16-year-old child. Three people were killed,” Tymoshenko wrote.

In his words, information is yet to be updated. Emergency services are working at the scene.
