1 killed, 2 injured in enemy strikes on Kharkiv region

One person was killed and two more were injured as the Russian invaders shelled Izium, Bohodukhiv, Chuhuiv, and Kharkiv districts over the past day.

As Oleh Synehubov, Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, posted on Telegram, the occupiers shelled Izium, Bohodukhiv, Chuhuiv, and Kharkiv districts over the past day. In Izium district, Donetske community, fire broke out in open areas three times due to shelling. A 48-year-old man was hospitalized.

In Chuhuiv district, an enemy strike set fire to grass, coniferous area, and a wheat field outside a locality.

"A private house caught fire in the town of Pechenihy at 21:00 following a strike. Unfortunately, a 20-year-old woman was killed. A 42-year-old woman was injured and hospitalized," Synehubov noted.

In Bohodukhiv and Kharkiv districts, fires broke out in open areas and warehouses.

"The hostilities in Kharkiv region continue. Our fighters hold the fort in all directions. Russians try to hinder the advance of Ukrainian troops and to gain a foothold. The occupiers carried out combat reconnaissance in the area of ​​Dolyna settlement, failed, and retreated," the official added.

As reported, the Russians fired rockets at Slobidsky and Osnovyansky districts of Kharkiv city, injuring a 62-year-old man and destroying an educational institution.
