Eighteen civilians injured in Russian shelling of Mykolaiv region in past day

Eighteen people were injured in Russian shelling of the Mykolaiv region in the past 24 hours.

Head of the Mykolaiv Regional Council Hanna Zamazeyeva said this in a Telegram post, Ukrinform reports.

"The occupiers continue shelling the Mykolaiv region. Settlements of Bashtanka and Mykolaiv districts came under shelling. Attacks were recorded in Ochakiv, Shyroke, Bereznehuvate, Pervomaiske, Kutsurub and Halytsynove communities. Overall, 18 people were injured in the Mykolaiv region over the past day," Zamazeyeva wrote.

She noted that all the victims were taken to healthcare facilities and receive the necessary assistance.

In general, as of this morning, 294 citizens injured in Russian attacks stay in Mykolaiv hospitals.
