Child reported killed in Russia’s massive shelling of Sloviansk

On July 3, 2022, Donetsk Region’s Sloviansk came under massive enemy fire. Reportedly, six civilians were killed, including a child.

The relevant statement was made by Sloviansk City Military Administration Head Vadym Liakh on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“According to the preliminary data, six civilians were killed and 15 injured. There is a child among those killed, and a municipal worker among those injured,” Liakh wrote.

In his words, different microdistricts were hit in Sloviansk, namely Artema, Zaliznychnyi, Pivnichnyi, Mashmet, Miasokombinat. Destructions were reported in the housing stock and municipal enterprises, namely municipal motor transport enterprise, trolleybus depot, filtering station.

A reminder that today’s Russian attack on Sloviansk has been the most powerful reported lately. It caused up to 15 fires across the city.
