Prime Minister of Australia Anthony Albanese has visited the towns of Bucha, Irpin and Hostomel in the Kyiv region, which were liberated from the Russian invaders.

Head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration Oleksiy Kuleba wrote this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

“Prime Minister of Australia Anthony Albanese visited the Kyiv region. The delegation visited Bucha, Hostomel and Irpin,” Kuleba wrote

According to the governor, this is the first visit of the prime minister of Australia to Ukraine. Albanese was shocked by what he saw: destroyed civilian houses, traces of mines, and the destroyed Antonov airport.

As Kuleba noted, Albanese said that Australia supports Ukraine and “calls for a fair punishment for the crimes committed here."

"I am grateful to the delegation for their personal visit to the Kyiv region. The war in Ukraine, in the center of Europe, should remain on the world agenda," Kuleba emphasized.
