One civilian killed, eight injured in Russia’s shelling of Donetsk Region

One civilian has been killed and eight injured in Russia’s shelling of Donetsk Region over the past day.

The relevant statement was made by Donetsk Regional Military Administration Head Pavlo Kyrylenko on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“On June 26, 2022, Russians killed one more civilian in Novoluhanske, Donetsk Region. Eight more people were injured,” Kyrylenko wrote.

Kyrylenko also repeated that it is now impossible to count the total number of casualties in Mariupol and Volnovakha.

A reminder that Russian troops continue to destroy civil infrastructure in Donetsk Region. In particular, two schools were damaged in Toretsk and Maiaky. The enemy again opened fire on Avdiivka Coke and Chemical Plant.
