Russians open fire on 13 settlements in Donetsk Region, casualties reported

In Donetsk Region, Russian troops have opened fire on 13 settlements over the past day. Casualties among civilians were reported.

The relevant statement was made by the National Police of Ukraine on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

The police documented 20 enemy strikes. A total of 25 civilian objects were damaged, namely 22 residential houses, railway substation, production shop and car.

The following settlements came under enemy fire: Bakhmut, Avdiivka, Krasnohorivka, Kurakhove, Ukrainsk, Toretsk, Hrodivka, New York, Karlivka, Bohdanivka, Pervomaiske, Pivdenne, Khromove.

Russian troops launched air strikes, used the S-300 surface-to-air missile systems, Grad and Uragan multiple launch rocket systems, artillery, tanks.

The police and the Security Service of Ukraine opened criminal proceedings according to Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (violation of the laws and customs of war).

A reminder that, on June 24, 2022, five civilians were killed and four injured in Russia’s shelling of Donetsk Region.
