Collaborator’s car explodes in Kherson, his fate to be checked – Budanov

A car belonging to Oleksii Kovaliov, the former Member of Parliament and Russian collaborator, has been blown up in the temporarily occupied city of Kherson.

This information was confirmed by Chief of the Main Intelligence Directorate at the Ukrainian Defense Ministry Kyrylo Budanov during a nationwide telethon, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“I can confirm that a certain action has been taken. The car was definitely blown up. The collaborator’s condition is yet to be checked,” Budanov told.

In his words, this and other “rather unusual events that had been taking place in Kherson Region over the past four days” are the work of Ukrainian agents and partisans cooperating with Ukrainian military and security services.

A reminder that Oleksii Kovaliov, the former Member of Parliament from the Servant of the People faction, went to Kherson Region and later expressed support for Russia’s possible annexation of the region on his social media.
