Ukraine, Russia exchange bodies of fallen soldiers

Ukraine and Russia exchanged the bodies of fallen soldiers according to "160 for 160" formula on the front line in Zaporizhzhia region.

"As a result of negotiations with the participation of the Commissioner for Missing Persons in Special Circumstances, an agreement was reached on the exchange of bodies according to ‘160 for 160’ formula,” the Ministry of Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine informs.

The operation was conducted by the Ministry of Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories, the Chief Directorate of Intelligence, the Ministry of Defense, the Security Service of Ukraine, the General Staff of the Armed Forces and other law enforcement agencies of Ukraine.

On February 24, Russia launched a new phase of the war against Ukraine – the full-scale invasion. Russian invaders shell and bomb peaceful Ukrainian cities, towns, and villages, torture and kill civilians. Ukraine's defense forces fiercely resist the Russians. As of June 4, the Ukrainian military eliminated about 31,050 Russian personnel.
