State Emergency Service evacuated about 1.9M civilians since Russian invasion started

Over 100 days since the Russian invasion started, the Ukrainian State Emergency Service has evacuated 1.881 million civilians.

The relevant statement was made by the Ukrainian State Emergency Service on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“100 days into the war that Europe has not seen since World War II. The Ukrainian State Emergency Service eliminates its dire effects day and night, firmly holding the home front,” the report states.

Since the Russian invasion started, the Ukrainian State Emergency Service units have responded to 32,468 calls, extinguished 9,300 fires, rescued 1,397 people, provided psychological aid to 132,690 people.

As part of rescue and emergency works, a total of 1,168 bodies were recovered from under the rubble.

The pyrotechnics experts of the Ukrainian State Emergency Service neutralized 128,424 munitions, including 1,983 air bombs. They inspected and cleared 29,807 hectares.

As of June 3, 2022, more than 1.881 million civilians were evacuated, including over 504,000 children and over 32,000 people with disabilities, the Ukrainian State Emergency Service added.
