Three civilians have been killed in Russia’s shelling of Luhansk Region over the past day, including a child.

The relevant statement was made by Luhansk Regional Military Administration Head Serhii Haidai on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“On June 3, 2022, a woman and her child were killed in Russia’s shelling of Hirske. One more person was fatally injured in Zolote,” Haidai wrote.

In addition, regional authorities received information about one more local resident killed in Hirske three days ago. Some people were reported injured in Russia’s shelling of Sievierodonetsk.

According to Haidai, Russian troops continue storming the city, suffering losses and reinforcing. The enemy again attempted to ‘cut off’ Sievierodonetsk, having fired at one more bridge.

“Yesterday, a Russian projectile hit one of apartments left undamaged. Fortunately, a man and his son, who were staying there, remained unharmed. The Ukrainian military evacuated them to safety outside Sievierodonetsk,” Haidai noted.

In his words, at least six apartment blocks have been damaged in Russia’s shelling of Sievierodonetsk and Lysychansk over the past day.

Eight houses were damaged in Hirske, seven – in Novoivanivka, six – in Vrubivka. Russian troops also caused damage to the housing stock in Metiolkine.
