Ukrainian forces destroy 36 invaders, ammo depot in east

Ukraine's Armed Forces have destroyed 36 Russian invaders and an ammunition depot in eastern Ukraine.

According to Ukrinform, the Operational and Tactical Group East reported this on Facebook.

"Ukrainian defenders continue to hold off the aggressor in the area of responsibility of the Operational and Tactical Group East," the statement said.

On June 3, Ukrainian soldiers destroyed 36 Russian troops, an infantry fighting vehicle, an armored personnel carrier, an artillery tractor and an ammunition depot.

Serhii Haidai, head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, said on June 3 that Ukraine's Armed Forces have recaptured 20% of the city of Sievierodonetsk in eastern Ukraine, with Russian troops controlling about half of the city.
