Russians shell 30 settlements in JFO area, killing three residents of Donetsk region

Russian troops have fired at 30 settlements in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions over the past 24 hours, killing three residents of the Donetsk region.

According to Ukrinform, the press service of the Joint Forces Task Force said this on Facebook.

"Over the past day, June 1, Russian troops fired at 30 settlements in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions. Sloviansk, Soledar, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, Mykolaivka, Toretsk, Sviatohirsk, Tetianivka, New York, Sukha Balka, Ocheretyne, Yarova, Karpivka, Raihorodok, Orlivka Toretsk, Sievierodonetsk, Borivske, Lysychansk, Pryvillia, Novodruzhesk, Bilohorivka, Zolote, Hirske, Komyshuvakha, Toshkivka, Vrubivka, Ustynivka, Syrotyne, and Mykolaivka came under shelling,” the statement reads.

At least three residents of the Donetsk region were killed and 11 others wounded by enemy shelling. Currently, there is no information about casualties in the Luhansk region.

Russian war criminals destroyed and damaged 89 civilian facilities, including 76 apartment blocks and private buildings.

Earlier reports said that on June 1, Ukrainian defenders repelled 13 enemy attacks in the Donetsk and regions, destroying two Russian tanks, six artillery systems, eight armored fighting vehicles and four motor vehicles. Air defense units shot down seven Orlan-10 UAVs.
