Luhansk region not cut off from Ukraine – administration’s head

Luhansk region is not cut off from Ukraine as there is access to Lysychansk and Sievierodonetsk towns.

"The Lysychansk–Bakhmut highway is completely exposed to fire. It is not controlled by the Russian army, it means that they did not block it, but they fire on it, and it is very dangerous and risky to drive along. There are already a lot of cars on the road which were completely shot down," Head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration Serhiy Haidai said during the nationwide telethon, Ukrinform correspondent reports.

As for the transport link, only cars, not trucks, are able to drive between Sievierodonetsk and Lysychansk.

Earlier, the head of the Luhansk Regional State Administration stated that 95% of the territory of Luhansk region was currently occupied by the enemy.
