Ukrainian army repels ten enemy attacks in JFO area

Ukraine's Armed Forces repulsed ten enemy attacks in the area of the Joint Forces Operation in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions on May 25.

According to Ukrinform, the press service of the Joint Forces Task Force said this on Facebook.

Along the entire line of defense, the enemy uses combat aircraft, multiple rocket launchers, large-caliber artillery, tanks, mortars of various systems, launching missile and bomb strikes on civilian infrastructure and peaceful residential areas.

Russian troops fired on more than 40 settlements in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, destroying and damaging 47 civilian objects, including 38 homes, a school, a health camp, a recreation center and a railway station.

Five civilians were killed and 12 others were injured by the shelling.

"Ukrainian defenders of the Joint Forces Task Forces repulsed ten enemy attacks today, and battles with the occupier are still ongoing at two locations. Our brave warriors inflict losses on ruscist invaders in manpower and equipment," the statement reads.

In the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian Joint Forces destroyed four Russian tanks, a piece of special equipment, two artillery systems, an armored personnel carrier and a motor vehicle.

Air defense units shot down four Orlan-10 unmanned aerial vehicles.

Earlier reports said that Ukraine's Armed Forces killed about 29,450 Russian soldiers between February 24 and May 25.
