Russian military again fire missiles at bridge over Dniester Estuary

On the night of May 17, 2022, the Russian military launched two cruise missiles on a bridge over the Dniester Estuary in Odesa Region, which had already been damaged.

The relevant statement was made by South Operational Command Spokesperson Vladyslav Nazarov on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Two more cruise missiles hit the bridge over the Dniester Estuary, which had not been operated for over two weeks,” Nazarov told.

In his words, the bridge was damaged so heavily that “repair works would require a lot of time and efforts. But, now it is impossible to conduct them, same as to operate the bridge”.

A reminder that Russian missile strikes already hit the bridge over the Dniester Estuary on April 26, April 27, May 2 and May 10, 2022.
