Ukrainian air defense forces shoot down enemy missile in Kirovohrad region

Ukrainian air defense forces have shot down a missile flying toward the city of Kropyvnytskyi in the Kirovohrad region.

Andrii Raikovych, head of the Kirovohrad Regional Military Administration, said this on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.

"In the morning, in the Oleksandriia district, the air defense forces shot down a missile flying toward Kropyvnytskyi," Raikovych wrote.

Air raid sirens were heard in the Kirovohrad region late on May 14 and early on May 15.

On February 24, Russia launched a new phase of its war against Ukraine - a full-scale invasion. Russian invaders are shelling and bombing cities, towns and villages in Ukraine, torturing and killing civilians.
