“In May 2022, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation carried out 49 missile strikes from the territory of Russia. A total of 74 cruise and ballistic missiles were fired, namely four Iskander missiles, eight Tochka-U missiles and two cruise sea- and air-based missiles. A total of 459 air attacks were launched,” Hromov told.

In his words, Russia’s main targets were transport infrastructure facilities in southern and eastern Ukraine. Russian troops also repeatedly fired at other critical infrastructure facilities.

“Russian troops have carried out 487 missile strikes since the full-scale hostilities started. During this period, a total of 788 cruise and ballistic missiles were fired from the territory of Russia and Belarus. These are Iskander missiles (213 units), Tochka-U missiles (61 units), cruise sea- and air-based missiles (235 units). The enemy operated 4,917 combat flights,” Hromov noted.
