Kharkiv Region’s Tsyrkuny liberated: Russian crimes recorded, mine clearance underway

In the village of Tsyrkuny, Kharkiv Region, which has recently been liberated by the Ukrainian Army, law enforcement officers are recording the crimes committed by Russian invaders and conducting mine clearance operations.

The relevant statement was made by Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Head Oleh Syniehubov on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Since the first days of Russia’s full-scale invasion, Tsyrkuny had been under Russian occupation. The ‘Russian world’ brought suffering and ruination only: houses and streets were destroyed. Today local residents, with tears in their eyes, have been greeting the defenders who liberated the village,” Syniehubov wrote, posting the relevant photographs.

In his words, law enforcement officers are now working in the village to record the crimes committed by Russian troops. Pyrotechnics experts are gradually conducting mine clearance operations.

According to Syniehubov, restoration works within critical infrastructure facilities will start as soon as the military allow.

A reminder that, on May 7, 2022, Russian troops lost control over Kharkiv Region’s Tsyrkuny.
