Podolyak shows photos of Ukrainians tortured in Kalynivka, urges to recognize Russia as sponsor of terrorism

The Russian Federation has chosen the path of terror of the civilian population and must be recognized as a state sponsor of terrorism.

“Torn-out nails. Tied hands. Another grave of 2 civilians was found in the village of Kalynivka, Kyiv region. How many such crimes are in the occupied territories right now? Russia chose the path of terror of the civilian population and must be recognized as a sponsor of terrorism,” Mykhailo Podolyak, Adviser to the Head of the President’s Office, posted on Twitter, releasing the photos of tortured Ukrainians.

As reported, criminal proceedings over violation of the laws and customs of war (Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) are being investigated under the procedural guidance of the Kyiv-Sviatoshynskyi District Prosecutor's Office.

Unauthorized burial of two men with traces of torture was discovered during the investigation in the village of Kalynivka, Makariv united territorial community, Kyiv region.

According to preliminary information, servicemen of the Russian Armed Forces first tortured and then killed two civilians during the occupation of the settlement. The hands of the victims had nails torn out and hands tied behind their backs. Gunshot wounds were found on their bodies.
