More than 300,000 square kilometers need to be demined in Ukraine.

"We face an unprecedented mine clearance challenge. We need to demine more than 300,000 square kilometers as they are either mined or simply covered with munitions and unexploded bombs," Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal said in an interview with a Ukrainian TV channel, Ukrinform reports.

He noted that Ukraine called on all international partners to help in this matter. The Prime Minister raised this issue during a working visit to the United States on April 21-22.

As reported, the Cabinet of Ministers began to establish an international demining center.

On February 24, Russia started a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. The whole people of Ukraine have risen to fight the enemy.
