Two Russian cruise missiles shot down in Odesa region

Ukrainian air defense forces have shot down two Russian cruise missiles flying in the direction of the port of Pivdennyi.

According to Ukrinform, Odesa City Council's press service reported this on Telegram.

"On April 23, at 22:00, in the Odesa region, warriors of an anti-aircraft missile unit of the Ukrainian Air Force shot down two Russian cruise missiles that were launched from the Black Sea area by a Russian ship and were flying towards the port of Pivdennyi," the statement said.

On April 23, Russian troops launched missile strikes on Odesa.

As of Saturday evening, eight people were killed and at least 18 were injured in a Russian missile attack on Odesa.
