It’s unfair that we still have to ask for weapons: Zelensky releases images of destroyed cities

President Volodymyr Zelensky considers it unfair that Ukraine still has to ask its partners for weapons stored in their warehouses for years, while our country needs them now to deter Russian aggression.

“It is unfair that Ukraine has to ask partners for something that is stored in their warehouses for years. If they have weapons that Ukraine needs here and now, if they have ammunition that we need here and now, it is theirs first and foremost moral duty – to help protect freedom. To help save the lives of thousands of Ukrainians,” the Head of State posted on Telegram.

As reported, President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that the Russian Federation had amassed almost all the combat-ready part of its army in the territory of Ukraine and near the borders. The intensity of Russian fire in eastern Ukraine has increased significantly.

On February 24, Russia launched a new phase of the eight-year war against Ukraine – a full-scale offensive. The enemy massively shells and bombs peaceful Ukrainian cities, towns, and villages. The Armed Forces, the Territorial Defense Forces and the entire Ukrainian people are effectively resisting Russian troops and inflicting heavy losses on them.
