Rescuers extinguish large fire caused by Russian missile in Kharkiv

On April 17, 2022, Russia’s missile hit a building with office and business premises, causing a large fire.

The relevant statement was made by the Ukrainian State Emergency Service on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

The fire was reported at 03:47 p.m., April 17, 2022. The fire area reached about 1,200 square meters.

Nine fire and rescue equipment units and 40 rescuers of the Ukrainian State Emergency Service were working at the scene to extinguish the fire.

The fire was localized at 05:16 p.m. and completely extinguished at 08:20 p.m.

A reminder that, on April 17, 2022, five people were killed and 13 injured in Russia’s shelling of Kharkiv downtown.
