Zelensky, Johnson discuss agreements reached during his visit to Kyiv

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has discussed agreements reached with British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, primarily on defense and macro-financial support.

The head of state announced this on Twitter, Ukrinform reports.

"I continued dialogue with British PM Boris Johnson. The agreements reached during his recent visit, primarily on defense and macro-financial support, were discussed. I briefed the British PM on the situation at the front, in particular in Mariupol. We are working on security guarantees for Ukraine," Zelensky said.

Johnson visited Kyiv on April 9. He presented a new package of financial and military assistance, which includes 120 armored vehicles and new anti-ship missile systems. The UK has also provided GBP 394 million in grant aid to help ensure the continued running of vital humanitarian services for Ukrainians.
