Enemy shelled Luhansk region 26 times over past day – National Police

The enemy fired at almost all settlements in the Luhansk region over the past day, with Ukrainian law enforcement officers recording 26 such attacks.

The press service of the National Police of Ukraine reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

"Over the past day, Russian occupation troops fired mortars, artillery and multiple rocket launchers at the towns of Sievierodonetsk, Rubizhne, Kreminna, Lysychansk, Popasna, Hirske, Zolote, Orikhove, and Novotoshkivka 26 times. Local residents were killed and wounded by the shelling," the statement said.

The shelling damaged civilian and critical infrastructure.

The police said earlier that in the Donetsk region, the enemy fired at 11 settlements over the past day, with casualties reported.
