Zelensky discusses with Macron investigation into Russia’s war crimes

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has discussed with President of France Emmanuel Macron the investigation into Russia’s war crimes against the Ukrainian state.

Zelensky wrote about this on his Twitter account, Ukrinform reports.

“Held negotiations with French President Emmanuel Macron. Discussed the investigation of Russian crimes, the resistance of the Ukrainian people to the invader. We appreciate the strong support of France. The negotiation process was also discussed. We strive for peace in Ukraine, in Europe!” Zelensky wrote.

As Ukrinform reported, Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court (ICC) Karim Khan arrived in Ukraine to investigate Russia’s war crimes.

On February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the beginning of a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Russian troops have been shelling and destroying key infrastructure facilities, conducting massive shelling of residential areas of Ukrainian cities and villages using artillery, multiple rocket launchers and ballistic missiles.
