Russians destroy humanitarian aid center in Sievierodonetsk

A humanitarian aid center in Sievierodonetsk, Luhansk region, was destroyed as a result of the massive Russian shelling.

"On April 11, one of the humanitarian aid centers set up in Sievierodonetsk by volunteers came under massive shelling. Immediately, eight shells hit the premises where the center was located and destroyed the walls. Fire erupted in the warehouse. Fortunately, there were no casualties," Head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration Serhiy Haidai posted on Telegram with reference to Mykola Nadulichny, head of the Luhansk Association of Organizations of Persons with Disabilities, co-organizer of a network of humanitarian aid centers in Sievierodonetsk and Lysychansk.

The center provided meals to up to 300 people daily, as well as food and hygiene products to bedridden patients. Every day, activists formed kits for people with limited mobility and delivered them by car or even by bicycle or on foot.

Realizing that the invaders were targeting food warehouses, the volunteers did not disclose the address of the humanitarian aid center on social networks to protect themselves and people.

The Russian aggressor is attacking Luhansk region continuously with various weapons – Tornado-C, Grad MLRS, aviation bombs, etc. Many residential buildings, infrastructure facilities, educational institutions have been destroyed in the region, and all hospitals are damaged.

Over the past 24 hours alone, the Russian military destroyed 12 residential buildings in Luhansk region. One person was killed and three were injured in Lysychansk.
