Five civilians killed, another five wounded in enemy shelling of Donetsk region

In Donetsk region on April 9, five civilians were killed and another five were wounded in shelling by Russian invaders.

Head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration Pavlo Kyrylenko wrote this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"Russia is killing civilians! Today, as a result of the Russian shelling of Donetsk region, five people died: four in Vuhledar and one in Novomykhailivka. Another five people were injured: four in Vuhledar and one in Krasnohorivka,” the governor wrote.

He noted that people injured in Luhansk region received medical treatment in Bakhmut.

On February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the beginning of a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Russian troops have been shelling and destroying key infrastructure facilities, conducting massive shelling of residential areas of Ukrainian cities and villages using artillery, multiple rocket launchers and ballistic missiles.
