Five people killed in Russia’s shelling of Donetsk region

On April 6, five people were killed and four more were wounded in Russia’s shelling of Donetsk region.

"Today, the Russians cynically fired on the civilians in Vuhledar while they were standing in line to get humanitarian aid. Four people were killed and four more were wounded. One person was killed by Russians in Ocheretyne at night," Head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration Pavlo Kyrylenko posted on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

According to him, it was also possible to clarify the information about one wounded woman in Mariupol, but the exact number of victims in this city and in Volnovakha cannot be established yet.

According to the infographics published, Russian invaders killed 155 and wounded 610 civilians (not taking into account the killed and wounded residents of Mariupol and Volnovakha) in Donetsk region since the beginning of the invasion of Ukraine.

On February 24, Russian president Putin started a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Russian troops shell and destroy key infrastructure, massively fire on residential areas of Ukrainian cities, towns, and villages using artillery, MLRS, and ballistic missiles.

Martial law was imposed in Ukraine and general mobilization was announced.
