Russian troops fire missiles at Mykolaiv

Russian troops early on Monday launched several missile strikes against the city of Mykolaiv.

Mayor Oleksandr Senkevych said this in a statement posted on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"Friends, Russian troops this morning launched several missile strikes against the city. We are collecting data. As always, I ask you not to publish any photos or videos until official sources do so," the mayor wrote.

Ukrinform reported earlier that one person was killed and 14 were injured after a missile strike against Mykolaiv on April 3.

On February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the beginning of the invasion of Ukraine. Russian troops have been shelling and destroying critical infrastructure, with missiles hitting Ukrainians' homes.
