Kuleba demands devastating sanctions against Russia after Bucha massacre

After the massacre of civilians by Russians in Bucha, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba has demanded that the Group of Seven immediately impose new devastating sanctions against Russia.

According to Ukrinform, Kuleba said this in a statement posted on Twitter.

"Bucha massacre was deliberate. Russians aim to eliminate as many Ukrainians as they can. We must stop them and kick them out. I demand new devastating G7 sanctions NOW," Kuleba wrote.

He noted that this should be the embargo on oil, gas, coal, the closure of all ports for Russian ships and goods and the disconnection of all Russian banks from the international SWIFT payment system.

Earlier reports said that a mass grave had been found in Bucha, a commuter town northwest of Ukraine's capital Kyiv, where almost 300 people were buried, with dozens of corpses lying on the streets, some of them with their hands tied.

Mykhailo Podolyak, an adviser to the head of the President's Office, published a photo of civilians shot dead by the Russian military in the Kyiv region and called on international partners to impose an embargo on energy resources from Russia and close ports for Russian ships.
