Enemy fired missiles at Odesa, targeting at critical infrastructure – OC South

In the early hours of Sunday morning, Russian invaders have launched a missile strike on Odesa, trying to hit critical infrastructure in the city.

Vladyslav Nazarov, an officer of the Operational Command South, said this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"Russia started the 39th day of the full-scale aggression with a missile strike. Odesa region was among the priority goals. The enemy continued its vile practice of destroying critical infrastructure. Smoke can be seen in some areas of the city, all relevant systems and services are working to eliminate the consequences,” Nazarov said.

According to preliminary data, no casualties have been reported.

As Ukrinform reported, referring to an official Telegram channel, "Odesa got under air attack. Some missiles were shot down by the air defense. Fires have been reported in some districts.”.

According to the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, on April 2, the Air Force of Ukraine shot down eight enemy targets.
