Ukrainian defenders liberate two settlements in Chernihiv region

Units of the Operational Command North have liberated from the enemy two settlements in Chernihiv region - Sloboda and Lukashivka.

The Operational Command North wrote this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

"Measures are being carried out to clear the area of mines and explosive ‘gifts’ left by the Russians and to help the locals who were under occupation," the report says.

As Ukrinform reported, units of the Ukrainian Air Assault Forces, together with other units of the defense forces of the Zaporizhzhia region, liberated the settlements of Zatyshshia, Malynivka, Vesele, Zelenyi Hai and Chervone from Russian occupation.
