International partners preparing new package of sanctions against Russia – Yermak

Ukraine's international partners are currently preparing a new package of sanctions against the Russian Federation, including the suppliers who cooperate with the Russian military and industrial complex.

Head of the Ukrainian President’s Office Andriy Yermak said this at a briefing, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.

"Our allies and partners are currently working on a new package of sanctions against the Russian Federation. In addition to sectoral restrictions, critical import chains will be targeted. This includes export controls and sanctions aimed at suppliers cooperating with the Russian military and industrial complex,” he said.

On February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the beginning of a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Russian troops have been shelling and destroying key infrastructure facilities, conducting massive shelling of residential areas of Ukrainian cities and villages using artillery, multiple rocket launchers and ballistic missiles.

Martial law was imposed in Ukraine and general mobilization was announced.
