Ukraine’s air defense destroys 7 enemy aircraft, 1 helicopter over past day

On March 23, the air defense units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine shot down seven enemy aircraft and one helicopter.

"On March 23, 2022, the anti-aircraft missile forces of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed 11 air targets of the Russian occupiers," the Air Force Command posted on Facebook.

In particular, seven aircraft, one helicopter, one unmanned aerial vehicle were shot down. In addition, two cruise missiles were destroyed.

On February 24, Russian president Vladimir Putin started a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Russian troops shell and destroy key infrastructure, massively fire on residential areas of Ukrainian cities, towns, and villages using artillery, MLRS, and ballistic missiles.
