Invaders already shelled 135 hospitals in Ukraine, killing six healthcare workers

Russians have already shelled 135 hospitals, killing six Ukrainian healthcare workers and injuring 16 more.

"The Russian military continue to shell healthcare facilities in violation of numerous international conventions. Six Ukrainian healthcare workers have already been killed and 16 more have been injured. 135 hospitals have been shelled, 9 of which are totally destroyed. Forty-three ambulances have also come under fire," Health Minister of Ukraine Viktor Liashko said at a briefing at the Ukraine Media Center.

Also, according to the minister, there are cases when Russian terrorists take healthcare workers hostage.

"Yesterday, a flagrant incident happened. An ambulance brigade, which accompanied a humanitarian convoy, was taken hostage. Fortunately, now the healthcare workers are safe, in the government-controlled territory," Liashko noted.

As reported, Russia’s invasion of Ukraine has been going on since February 24. The aggressor shells and destroys key infrastructure facilities, residential areas of Ukrainian cities, towns, and villages.
