Residential district in Kyiv’s Podilskyi district shelled

Kyiv suffered another blow from the enemy. A residential neighbourhood in Podilskyi district was shelled.

"Rescuers and healthcare workers already work on the site. The nature, scale of damage to residential buildings, and the number of victims are being clarified," the press service of the Kyiv City State Administration posted on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

On February 24, Russian president Putin announced the beginning of a large-scale invasion of Ukraine. Russian troops shell and destroy infrastructure, massively fire on residential areas of Ukrainian cities and villages using artillery, multiple launch rocket systems, and ballistic missiles.

Martial law was imposed in Ukraine, and general mobilization was announced.
