Enemy saboteurs could try to get into Ukraine from EU, posing as journos - officials

There is a risk that Russian sabotage and reconnaissance groups could attempt to cross into Ukraine from Europe, posing as employees of such media outlets as Ruptly, Redfish Channel, or Maffick Agency.

This was reported on Facebook by the Center for Countering Disinformation at the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine.

"The NSCD Center for Countering Disinformation informs on the threat of sabotage groups entering the Ukrainian territory. This time the occupiers have found a 'loophole' in Europe. They use press credentials of the Ruptly video agency, which is a subsidiary of Russia Today. The Russian video news agency has an office in Berlin. They may also be referred to as 'Redfish Channel' or 'Maffick Agency,'" the report says.

The Center urged citizens to remain vigilant and asked to pass information on such persons to the SBU chatbot: @stop_russian_war_bot

As reported by Ukrinform, Interior Minister Denys Monastyrsky said enemy saboteurs and artillery and aviation spotters had been actively operating across Ukraine.
