Russia bombs enterprises in Shostka

Russian invaders have bombed enterprises in Shostka, Sumy region. It is deemed impossible to restore the affected capacities to an operational condition.

This was announced by the head of Sumy Regional Military Administration, Dmytro Zhyvytskyi, in a video report on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"Today, Shostka was bombed. Industrial facilities, production capacities were hit. Warehouses were destroyed. Fortunately, none of those enterprises were working at that time, so we expect that there will be no people under the rubble. But it’s impossible to restore them to operational conditions. Even if there is such a need, they will not be able to start working again," Zhyvytskyi said.

As reported, the Russian invasion of Ukraine has been going on since February 24. The aggressor has been shelling and destroying key infrastructure, residential areas of Ukrainian cities and villages using artillery, multiple rocket launchers, and ballistic missiles.

Martial law was imposed in Ukraine and general mobilization was announced.
