Active hostilities underway in Makariv and Borodianka

On Monday, March 14, 2022, civilians were evacuated from Dmytrivka, Nemishaievo and Hostomel in Bucha District, Kyiv Region.

The relevant statement was made by the National Police of Ukraine, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“On March 14, 2022, civilians were evacuated from Dmytrivka, Nemishaievo and Hostomel. The police continue to maintain public order in cooperation with local self-government authorities. In Makariv and Borodianka, active hostilities are underway,” the report states.

According to the police, more than 1,500 civilians were evacuated on Sunday, as military actions were underway in the Vyshhorod direction.

In Fastiv District, civilians are evacuating from Byshiv and Yasnohorodka. The situation is controlled.

A reminder that, on February 24, 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin initiated a full-scale invasion of Ukraine, starting a war. Russian troops are shelling and destroying the key infrastructure facilities, launching missile strikes on residential areas, killing civilians in Ukraine.
