Ukraine’s Armed Forces shot down a Russian drone, which was used to aim and adjust artillery fire, in Zhytomyr region.

“Russian Forpost drone was shot down in Zhytomyr region. The vehicle was used to adjust and aim artillery fire," the 115th separate brigade of the Territorial Defense of Zhytomyr Region posted on Facebook.

As noted, Forpost UAV (Searcher) is a family of tactical reconnaissance unmanned aerial vehicles developed by Israel Aerospace Industries.

In 2012, Russia began producing Forpost UAV, a licensed version of Searcher 2.

The war against Russian invaders has been going on in Ukraine since February 24.
